Express Employment Professionals is looking for a motivated, hardworking individual to fill a position as a Janitor/Custodian for a great company in Hyrum, UT.

Current openings are:

• Custodial- Weekends (Long term) Saturday and Sunday 6:00 am- 4:00 pm
• Custodial- (Short Term- Now until end of February) Mon-Fri. 6:00 am- 2:30 pm

Duties and Responsibilities for the Janitor/Custodian:

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
• Adjust minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilating, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
• Steam-clean or shampoo carpets.
• Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
• Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Must be able to pass a background and drug test
